A LONG GREEN STORY

For us, it is the most important thing of all. The nature in which we were born, and the desire to make our work a way of protecting it. For thirty years, we have devoted every gesture, every idea, every activity to a single goal: harmony with this land, the joy of experiencing it while recognising its beauty every day.

A project we called We are green. And one that today makes Delphina a hotel group with a unique history of sustainability: the first in Italy to use only 100% renewable electricity. A company that proudly protects biodiversity and has completely eliminated single-use plastic. So that the nature surrounding us remains healthy, free and true.

COMMITMENT AND RECOGNITION

We have always been sustainable. That is why, when Delphina was named the world’s leading green independent hotel group at the World Travel Awards, the true Oscars of international tourism, we saw it as one step along a lifelong journey.

Years of commitment, years of ever-new ways to respect the environment: through investment in new photovoltaic systems, continuous monitoring of energy consumption, and the creation of brands such as Genuine Local Food Oriented® and Selezione Delphina, based on respect for the local economy and the promotion of craftsmanship. Because everything is nature, everything is responsibility.

THE UNIVERSAL KEY

More than one hundred and thirty. That is the number of criteria we met, verified through an independent assessment, before obtaining the international Green Key certification: environmental sustainability, social impact, but also respect for an ancient form of hospitality — our own, and always authentic. By awarding it to all the properties in the Delphina group, the Foundation for Environmental Education recognised something even greater in our work.

What we do every day is simply respect and protect the world that was given to us, the world in which we grew up and to which we still feel we belong. To its timeless values, to the way of life we were taught, we dedicate the training of our staff and the actions of each one of us. We are our environment.
